Second surface 01
Second space by skin texture
‘Second surface’ tries to show space in surrealistic but solemn, that is, sacred illusion. The space in the illusion refers to perception and reflection in the space of calm illusion. This is the subtle overlapping between existence and absence in the hidden figuration with net and the space between twisting and tangle of lines is shown through light and shadow. Also, the second surface through tension of lines implies pale and sacred landscape. The reinterpreted pattern of texture in human skin is extended to the emotional space between structure and surface of human body and space wrapped with skin texture is connected to another skin texture, connecting in the space between surface and space like cell division. Continuously spreading imaginative landscape with soft tension of variable woven and tangled lines, it creates implying space of the second surface.
